As an accredited Living Wage employer, we go above and beyond the government minimum and take a stand to ensure all our employees earn a wage that is enough to live on. By providing a living wage, we contribute to staff wellbeing and motivation. We aim to promote best practice not only within the company, but to our clients and suppliers. 

We aim to empower our employees through their training and development, and we recognise individual contributions and reward our employees accordingly. Earth is what we all have in common

Caring for the environment is one of our key responsibilities at HX Car Park Management, and an important part of the way in which we do business. Protection of the environment in which we live and operate in is incorporated into our values and principles. We consider it to be sound business practice and encourage all our suppliers and clients to do the same. 

Within our offices, we promote our recycle policy, encouraging staff to use as many “green” and recyclable products as possible. We discourage the use of single-use plastics and provide sustainable alternatives for staff, such as reusable water bottles and coffee flasks.  Where it is unavoidable to use single-use plastics, these are recycled weekly.

We also encourage our staff to car share or use public transport to minimise their carbon footprint.

For every new contract we sign, we commit to planting one new tree via the National Forest Company. Established in 1995, the National Forest Company is responsible for leading the creation of the National Forest. Further information can be found on their website – www.nationalforest.org

Good people bring out the good in people

At HX Car Park Management, we promote philanthropy in the workplace and encourage all staff to give back to the community we work in.

We provide all our full-time staff employees a full day's pay to go out into the community once a year to volunteer with a local charity of their choice. 

As a company, all staff take part in an annual group fund-raising event. We aim for staff to collectively raise a minimum of £1000 to donate to our chosen charity of the year. Any money raised throughout the year, through things such as Dress Down Days, also goes towards our chosen charity. We also sponsor the Kind Hearts Give Back ball in Leeds each year, a non-profit event to raise money and awareness for cancer. Further information can be found at www.kindheartsgiveback.co.uk.

Grassroots Football

HX pledge to sponsor a grassroots football team in each county we hold a contract and work within, showing that we are fully committed to investing directly in the community.


Sport and exercise are an integral part of a child’s development and growth, the benefits being both physical and mental. Along with health benefits there are key life skills that football helps to develop in children for the future such as, teamwork, discipline, work ethic and camaraderie.
