WARDEN PATROLS & MARSHALS
Implementing Warden Patrols can provide you with many benefits. When people think of a Warden, they automatically think of a parking ticket and the negativity follows. Over the years we have worked hard to develop our warden service to remove the negative perception people tend to have. Our wardens' sole focus is not just to issue parking tickets, they also:
- Litter pick
- Clean signage
- Brush any glass off the car park surface
- Double up as traffic marshals
We often use wardens to complement our intelligent ANPR systems to provide you with a complete service. Why do we use wardens and ANPR? Most people don’t realise initially but ANPR does not detect the following:
- Misuse of disabled bays
- Misuse of Parent & Child bays
- Misuse of Permit bays
- Vehicles stopping in no stopping areas
Therefore, we use both techniques to gain you the highest percentage of compliance possible.
Tact and diplomacy are two very important skills that are required in what can sometimes be a controversial business. All of our wardens are handpicked and meticulously trained to defuse confrontational situations and to recognise special needs and circumstances.
Our wardens carry the very latest handheld software in the form of MNPR. Since we introduced MNPR our clients have been extremely complimentary about them.
What is MNPR?
MNPR stands for Manual Number Plate Recognition. MNPR is the latest and most up-to-date method of car park compliance via a warden. This is perfect for car parks on premises such as retail parks, shops, stores and anywhere where staff are present, as this method allows us to patrol the car park on foot and we don’t need to fix a ticket to the windscreen. We are able to take all the photographs required and subsequently request the registered keeper’s details from the DVLA. We then send out a PCN via the post directly to the registered keeper.
MNPR dramatically reduces any on-site confrontation to our staff, or yours and is generally considered to be a much safer method of car park compliance.
