Maximum stay ANPR schemes are used daily across the nation. Over the last 5 years, our retail portfolio has grown exponentially. Maximum stay schemes are predominantly used in:

Maximum stay is essentially a limited period of free parking. You will be familiar with signage that says “1/2/3 Hours Maximum Stay” It allows genuine users to use the facility but, at the same time, prevents abuse from long stay or unauthorised vehicles. The benefits of a maximum stay scheme are:

  • Increased turnover of vehicles
  • More spend per head on retail outlets with turnover of customers
  • Decrease commuters from parking all day, ensuring there is space for staff and customers
  • Data and Analytics

Maximum stay schemes are managed by intelligent ANPR cameras. If your site has disabled bays, parent and child bays, loading bays and/or no stopping areas then we would advise to look at having Warden patrols to compliment the ANPR system and to give you full coverage and compliance of your parking facilities.
